Geheimrezept

The A&R says:
“I loved the way they have used the very first note of the ... Inc riff and ran it through the mix, but I felt they could have added some more of the riff at these points into the mix as the remix builds i.e 1.30 – 3 min kept as it is, then after here used more of the riff up until the main breakdown, where it could break with no beats etc / just the deep / dark sounds and then add the FULL ‘... Inc’ sample / riff for 8 bars then the vocal + ... Inc riff, build out with drums and slam the beats back in + bigger sounds added for max impact.”

"I think the remix needs to have a main breakdown section added earlier into the remix approx 4.05, with the above – please can they make the drum rolls a lot shorter from 4.55 – 5.50, maybe similar length to the one at the start.”

 Example…

3.50 – drum build…
4.05 – main breakdown
4.20 – ... Inc riff
4.35 – ... In riff + vocal
4.50 – build
5.05 – beats in + bigger sounds

IMPORTANT: “The reason I have asked this, is the ... Inc riff needs to be played with the vocal at some point in the mix for publishing reasons. I also think using the full ... Inc riff in the main breakdown section would be a huge impact on the dance floors.”

“Also, can we have a normal DJ outro, instead of long fade out at the end? It lacks a real big breakdown / big moment, but with this added – it will rock!”

Ich frage mich jetzt nur warum er nicht gleich die Nummer selber produziert.
